| I started The Jellybrains as a whim in college back in 1979. I had been watching "Leave it to Beaver" in a somewhat altered state, and was amazed at how absolutely strange and otherworldly these folks were. I wondered what their trip was. Then, because I have a tendency towards tipping over sacred cows, I wondered what it would be like if 'tripping' was their normal way of life? So, I created an average family that just happens to be wired on every drug imaginable, and randomly putting them into various TV sitcom situations while they were hallucinating! |
